Job summary

Amazon Air is seeking a Process Engineer to drive process stabilization, standardization, and continuous improvement in its air logistics network. The role involves developing labor standards, planning for sort and ramp operations, and leading cross-functional projects with Senior and Regional leaders.

The position requires 2+ years managing large projects, 4+ years in Office tools, and a background in engineering or related fields, with Lean/Six Sigma experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of directly managing and responsible for multiple large projects experience
• 4+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field
• Experience in Lean Management, Six Sigma and other operations engineer tools
• Experience in Logistics, Distribution or Fulfillment processes
• Experience working under pressure in a cross-functional organization

Responsibilities

• Develop labor standards through work measurement
• Create operational models and planning to support both sort and ramp operations
• Manage projects from conception to completion
• Conduct and lead project meetings with Senior and Regional leaders
• Assess and optimize the processes and equipment used in the facility
• Plan and design systems that meet business needs by improving integration of people, materials, equipment, software, and finance
• Recommend and implement changes to safety procedures, work methods, and labor standards
• Travel domestically up to 10% of the time
