Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) in Austin, Texas, seeks an Air Logistics Senior Manager Express Operations to lead warehouse and airport ramp operations. You will collaborate with contract partners to ensure fast processing of Express packages, manage daily throughput, and uphold safety, security, and quality standards.

You will move packages through a cross-dock flow from aircraft to warehouse to trucks, supervise staff, and drive continuous improvement while complying with TSA, USCBP, and FAA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2–5 years related experience or equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Airline/logistics/transportation experience preferred.
• 5 years of leadership and management experience required.
• Leadership ability to train and develop personnel.
• Ability to adapt to a fluid, 24/7 work environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, lead and control staff to promote teamwork and pride in a diverse environment.
• Develop next level leaders and managers in leadership and management skills.
• Supervise staff to meet business needs and SLA performance standards.
• Ensure safety rules and standards are followed by Airport Ramp and Warehouse staff.
• Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring decisions.
• Assist in employee relations, counseling, and performance reviews.
• Maintain security compliance with TSA, USCBP, FAA and badge controls.
• Prepare operational reports weekly and monthly, plus ad hoc requests.
• Handle injury and post-accident reporting and testing as required.
• Assist customer reps with data for audits and compliance reports.
• Maintain airport employment records and badge appointments.
