Job summary

Dimerco Express Corp is seeking an organized professional for Air Import Operations in the New York area. You will manage import documentation, coordinate trucking and delivery, and ensure accurate billing and records to support smooth cross-border shipments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Air Import Operations within the freight-forwarding or logistics industry.
• Ability to maintain high service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process import documentation (shipping docs, arrival notices, customs paperwork).
• Coordinate trucking and final delivery arrangements; issue invoices and maintain records.
• Handle shipment billing and file management with accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with transportation and security regulations and customer requirements.
• Communicate effectively with customers, carriers and overseas offices to ensure smooth execution.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and provide timely updates to customers and management.

Qualifications:

• Prepare and process all required import documentation, including shipping documents, arrival notices (ATME), and customs-related paperwork.
• Coordinate trucking and final delivery arrangements, issue invoices, prepare shipment-related documents, and maintain accurate records and filing systems.
• Handle shipment billing and ensure complete and accurate shipment file management.
• Ensure compliance with all transportation and security regulations, including customer requirements for handling their shipments.
• Communicate effectively with customers, carriers, and overseas offices to ensure smooth shipment execution.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and provide timely updates to customers and management as required.
