Dimerco Express Group in Wood Dale, IL is seeking a responsible, self-motivated ocean operations professional to join our freight forwarding team. You will handle daily ocean import shipment operations, prepare documents, track schedules, and coordinate with overseas partners and customers.

This role offers hands-on training, career growth, and exposure to international logistics in a collaborative environment with competitive compensation based on experience.

Qualificações

• 1–2 years of ocean operations / freight forwarding experience.
• Basic understanding of ocean import procedures.
• Familiarity with FCL and LCL shipments.
• Knowledge of customs clearance, trucking arrangements, and shipment tracking.
• Experience in a freight forwarding company is preferred.
• Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Mandarin is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Handle daily ocean import shipment operations.
• Prepare and process shipping documents and update shipment records.
• Track vessel schedules, shipment status, and cargo delivery.
• Coordinate with overseas agents, carriers, customs brokers, truckers, and customers.
• Arrange cargo pickup, delivery, and empty container returns.
• Assist with shipment billing, cost verification, and document filing.
• Follow up on shipment delays and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Provide shipment updates and operational support to customers and internal teams.
• Ensure shipment information and documentation are accurate and completed on time.
