Job summary

Sbtglobalinc is seeking a Logistics Procurement Specialist (contractor) focused on air pricing to join the Pricing team. You will manage end-to-end air freight procurement, including sourcing forwarders and airlines, RFQ/RFP processes, and negotiations of rates and capacity.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field and 2+ years in air freight procurement, with strong Excel-based cost analyses and market benchmarking. Travel and flexible hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or finance.
• 2+ years in freight forwarding, 3PL, or logistics sourcing/operations focused on air freight.
• Proven experience managing RFP/RFQ processes and financial data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end air freight procurement including sourcing forwarders and airlines.
• Manage RFQ/RFP processes and supplier quotations.
• Negotiate rates, capacity, and contract terms with carriers and forwarders.
• Coordinate with legal for transportation agreements and monitor renewal opportunities.
• Prepare procurement reports and KPI dashboards.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Customer Service.
