Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in the USA seeks a Freight Forwarder to manage air export shipments, coordinate schedules with airlines, and prepare all customs and commercial documents for customers.

You will track shipments, communicate status updates, maintain strong customer relationships, and ensure compliance with trade and customs laws. This is a full-time role in Kansas City with a base pay range of $42,640–$53,300 annually.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in Freight Forwarding is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the exportation of goods by air, including scheduling with airlines and managing the movement of goods through various transportation channels
• Prepare and process required documentation for customs clearance, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading
• Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to customers on the status of their shipments
• Manage relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
• Collaborate with other internal departments, such as logistics, finance, and operations, to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including customs regulations and trade laws
• All other duties as assigned.
