DHL Global Forwarding is seeking an Air Export Supervisor to lead the end-to-end Air Freight Export product team, including Operations and Customer Service. The role drives performance, quality, and regulatory compliance while managing P/L and carrier performance.

The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience in logistics, strong communication, and knowledge of Air Freight Export processes. This role reports to the US Air Freight Product team and may involve coordination with unionized

Qualifications

• BA/BS preferred; minimum 2 years supervisory experience in logistics/transportation.
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of Air Freight Export processes and Cargo Wise basics.

Responsibilities

• Manages, oversees, and performs supervisory tasks to direct end-to-end Air Freight Export activities.
• Serves as escalation contact for customer Air Freight Export shipments; manages financials and KPIs.
• Ensures safety, security, and good working practices for shipments and staff.
• Collaborates with Gateway, Trucking, Handling, and Sales to improve service and grow business.
• Reviews month-end reports, P/L, A/P and A/R; escalates carrier performance issues as needed.
• Supervises unionized staff; hires, coaches, trains, and develops subordinates.
