Job summary

Castelion is seeking a Director of Business Development for Air Force programs in the United States. You will own the capture lifecycle from opportunity identification to contract award, shape strategy, and lead senior government engagements.

The role requires 7+ years in defense business development, a current DoD security clearance, and a proven ability to drive proposals and winning solutions. Based in Washington, DC or Florida, on-site collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years in defense Business Development, Capture Management, or Program Management.
• Active DoW Secret security clearance required; Top Secret/SCI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage all capture activities for Air Force programs from opportunity identification to contract award.
• Develop and execute comprehensive capture plans aligned with customer priorities and company capabilities.
• Define win strategy, price-to-win, teaming decisions, and solution shaping with technical and program teams.
• Maintain long-range procurement roadmap and position the company for future opportunities.
• Build and sustain trusted relationships with Air Force stakeholders and represent the company at conferences and site visits.
