Job summary

Castelion is actively seeking a Director of Business Development for Air Force programs to own the capture lifecycle and lead engagement with Air Force stakeholders. You will develop capture plans, define win strategies, and coordinate with engineering and program teams to position Castelion for successful contract awards.

The role offers ownership at an early stage, with the autonomy to drive strategy, nurture senior government relationships, and shape customer requirements across Air Force

Qualifications

• 7+ years in defense Business Development, Capture Management, or Program Management.
• Experience with USAF market and programs is strongly preferred.
• Active DoW Secret security clearance required; Top Secret/SCI preferred.
• Proven ability to own and drive a full capture lifecycle from identification to proposal submission.

Responsibilities

• Program Capture Ownership for Air Force programs from initial opportunity identification to contract award.
• Develop, maintain, and execute a comprehensive capture plan aligned with priorities and capabilities.
• Define and drive win strategy, price‑to‑win analysis, and teaming decisions with technical and program teams.
• Maintain relationships with Air Force stakeholders and engage decision‑makers and influencers.
• Monitor requirements documentation and coordinate with engineering, PM, and contracts teams.
