Job summary

Threat Tec, LLC is seeking an Air/Fires Specialist at Camp Lejeune, NC. You will design and execute realistic training programs, focusing on air operations, fires support, and joint planning to enhance client readiness.

The role requires deep expertise in multi-domain operations, Joint Air Operations, and effective staff coordination across levels. The ideal candidate will lead battle staff training, coordinate C2/COP systems, and deliver compelling briefings while maintaining security

Qualifications

• 10+ years of prior military service.
• Prior experience training and deployments with US Special Operations Forces.
• Experienced Air Officer (Any branch of service).
• Operational Air/Fires experience (SOTF level or higher).
• TACP (Tactical Air Control Party) experience.
• Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) experience.
• Experience in developing battle staff training and operations.
• Support to fires integration training exercises within the year.
• Staff experience in a special operations or combat arms battalion/regiment/brigade.
• Thorough understanding of Joint Air Operations and their employment.
• Proficiency in planning processes (MCPP, MDMP, or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with tactical C2 and COP systems.
• Subject Matter Expert in Joint Fires Integration and Fires Planning.
• Understanding multi-domain operations.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Active Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement battle staff training programs focused on air and fires operations.
• Serve as SME on Joint Air Operations and related platforms.
• Lead or contribute to planning processes (MCPP/MDMP).
• Coordinate tactical C2 and COP systems for fires/air integration.
• Provide guidance on SOF capabilities and multi-domain operations.
• Collaborate with staff at battalion to brigade level for training scenarios.
• Deliver clear briefings to diverse audiences on complex concepts.
• Maintain compliance with security requirements including active clearance.
