Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding in Houston, TX is hiring an Air Export Agent to manage international air export shipments from start to finish. You will coordinate between customers, brokers, and carriers, ensuring accurate documentation and timely movement of cargo.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Detail oriented with strong follow-up skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Air freight industry experience preferred.
• CargoWise systems knowledge is a plus.
• ITAR experience or Foreign Military Sales (FMS) experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate air export shipments and act as main point of contact between customer, customs brokers, and carriers.
• Prepare export documentation and ensure accuracy per country requirements and airline rules.
• File AES export data and maintain compliance with export regulations.
• Communicate shipment status to customers and liaise with overseas teams to meet delivery commitments.
• Ensure accurate invoicing and timely processing of services.
• Maintain up-to-date customer profiles and meet KPI targets set by Control Tower.
