Job summary

Staffmark Group in Torrance, CA is hiring an Air Export Quality Control Specialist to inspect, test, and approve air export documentation, ensuring each shipment meets customer requirements before departure.

You will verify invoices and packing lists, monitor compliance, and resolve issues across departments. The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities on a Tue-Sat schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in air export, freight forwarding, logistics, customer service, or quality control preferred.
• Knowledge of air freight/export documentation and regulations preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Review air export shipments for accuracy and completeness.
• Verify commercial invoices, packing lists, airway bills, and other export documentation.
• Ensure shipment information is accurately entered into internal systems.
• Identify and correct documentation and data discrepancies.
• Monitor shipments for compliance with customer requirements and company procedures.
• Perform quality checks on export files before shipment departure.
• Communicate with customers, carriers, operations teams, and internal departments to resolve issues.
• Track and follow up on shipment exceptions, delays, and missing documentation.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and properly document files.
• Assist with customs, compliance, and operational issue resolution.
• Meet productivity, accuracy, and quality standards.
• Follow all company safety, security, and regulatory requirements.
