Job summary

The position emphasizes accuracy, documentation, and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years in aerospace QA, familiarity with ISO standards and SPC, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of quality inspection experience in the aerospace industry.
• FAA Repair Stations experience preferred.
• Knowledge of quality audits, cleanroom inspections, and aviation quality standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of aerospace components.
• Verify material certifications, outside process certifications, and drawing requirements.
• Complete first article inspections and related documentation.
• Review engineering drawings and technical repair data.
• Inspect repairs and verify compliance with FAA and customer requirements.
• Complete Certificates of Conformance (C of C) and FAA forms as required.
• Conduct cleanroom, NDT, and conformity inspections.
• Perform repair station audits and quality reviews of travelers.
• Prepare teardown reports and material discrepancy reports (MDRs).
• Support testing and inspection of aerospace systems and components
