Job summary

Hotel Victor in Miami Beach is seeking a reliable Air Conditioning Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair our HVAC systems to keep guests comfortable and the property well maintained. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose electrical and plumbing components, respond to maintenance requests in guest rooms, and contribute to safety procedures.

EPA certification is preferred, and prior hotel or commercial HVAC experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum HVAC experience preferred for the role.
• Knowledge of commercial air conditioning systems and their operation.
• Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge is required.
• EPA certification preferred but not mandatory.
• Reliable, hands-on, and capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION: AIR CONDITIONING TECHNICIAN DEPARTMENT: Maintenance REPORTS TO: Director of Engineering Job Summary: Hotel Victor is looking for a reliable and experienced Air Conditioning Technician to join our Engineering team. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the hotel’s air conditioning and HVAC systems to ensure a comfortable experience for our guests and a safe, well maintained property.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain air conditioning and HVAC systems
• Perform preventive maintenance on AC units and equipment
• Diagnose issues with electrical, mechanical, and drainage components
• Respond to guest room and hotel maintenance requests
• Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance as needed
• Maintain maintenance records and follow all safety procedures

Requirements:

• Previous HVAC/AC technician experience preferred
• Knowledge of commercial air conditioning systems
• Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge
• EPA certification preferred
