Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies is seeking a Service Technician to service and repair air compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment in the Pittsburgh area. The role includes troubleshooting, recommending reliability improvements, and promoting upgrades and preventive maintenance.

You’ll complete service reports, keep your vehicle stocked, and respond quickly to emergencies. We value a self-starter attitude, safety, and ongoing training through our Air Academy and supplier programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Self-starter with a positive attitude and organized work habits.
• Valid driver's license; be able to pass drug test and background check.
• Physical ability to sit, stand, and bend for extended periods.
• Coachable and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment.
• Diagnose issues and propose solutions to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Identify and sell repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
• Complete accurate service reports and maintain compliance.
• Keep the service vehicle stocked with tools and parts.
• Respond to urgent calls and minimize downtime.
• Represent OTC professionally and build strong customer relationships.
• Follow safety protocols and stay current through training.
• Handle emergency service calls with speed and precision.
