Job summary

Air Centers of Florida seeks a Sales Specialist to expand aftermarket parts and service revenue and generate new equipment leads within the sales team. The role promotes service and parts, including PM agreements, repairs, rentals, PackageCare contracts, lubricants, installations, VFD upgrades, and controls for compressed air equipment.

Qualifications

• Strong sales and presentation ability.
• Proficient with Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel; CRM experience.
• Solid mechanical/technical aptitude and math basics.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships with manufacturers and customers.
• Proven interpersonal skills with internal and external customers.
• Basic marketing knowledge.
• Willingness to work in non-climate-controlled environments on sales calls.
• PPE including steel-toed shoes required on visits.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and adapt to market changes.

Responsibilities

• Develop aftermarket sales proposals and present to engineers and buyers.
• Assess customer applications to size and tailor aftermarket recommendations.
• Conduct air system surveys.
• Build a list of potential customers from industry contacts.
• Follow up on sales leads and perform cold calls.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations impacting target markets.
• Close sales and finalize contracts.
• Meet sales quotas and revenue goals.
• Resolve product/service issues for customers.
• Coordinate deliveries and follow-up with customers.
• Manage expenses within approved limits.
• Prepare detailed PMU scope of supply for processing.
