Job summary

Aloha Air Cargo in Lihue, Hawaii, is seeking a union-represented cargo handler to route inbound/outbound freight, load and unload shipments, and ensure accurate cargo documentation.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 75 lbs, basic math, and the capacity to obtain a forklift certification as part of the cargo operations team. This on-site position supports weekend/holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must qualify for CBP seal and obtain forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Routes inbound and outbound freight to destinations.
• Arrange pickup and delivery to loading platform.
• Assemble cargo by destination and weigh items using tariffs.
• Prepare freight bills, collect payments and issue refunds.
• Prepare manifests for shipments and ensure security procedures.
• Unload freight and notify consignees of arrival.
