Job summary

Zelis Healthcare, LLC is seeking a senior technical leader to drive the AIOps program as we accelerate AWS migration and embed AI-native capabilities across operations. You will collaborate with Engineering, Cloud, Infrastructure, Security, and Operations to deliver automated, agent-assisted, reliable platforms.

The role emphasizes strong AWS depth, hands-on observability, AI agent experience, and governance-driven reliability with a focus on proactive operations and incident readiness.

Qualifications

• BS + 12 years or MS + 10 years leading cloud operations, SRE, observability or AIOps initiatives.
• Hands-on AWS design and operation across compute, networking, storage, security, automation.
• Deep observability experience with New Relic and OpenSearch for metrics, logs, traces, dashboards.
• Proven experience applying AI to operations: event correlation, anomaly detection, remediation.
• Ability to design AI agents/agencent workflows that improve operations.
• Strong governance, security, explainability and human oversight in AI use.

Responsibilities

• Lead the AIOps strategy and architecture during AWS migration and AI-native acceleration.
• Define patterns for incident detection, triage, remediation, and root cause analysis.
• Architect and scale observability across cloud/app environments; dashboards and alerts.
• Drive reliability and automation across AWS with scalable governance patterns.
• Design AIOps capabilities using AI, agents, and agentic workflows for response and automation.
• Develop agentic/multi-agent solutions coordinating monitoring and remediation workflows.
• Build and mature ChatOps to improve collaboration and workflow automation.
• Embed reliability into platform design with SRE, Cloud Eng, Security teams.
• Establish standards for telemetry, SLOs/SLIs, alert quality, and post-incident learning.
• Promote adoption of New Relic, OpenSearch, and related analytics platforms.
