Sarela Technology Solutions in Fort Belvoir, VA is seeking a Senior AIOps Engineer to drive Splunk-based observability across unclassified and classified enclaves, architect telemetry pipelines, and ensure secure data integration in DoD environments.

Required TS/SCI clearance, IAT Level II certification, U.S. citizenship, 7+ years with Splunk Enterprise, and 3+ years of AIOps with ServiceNow integration; strong Python scripting and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required at time of hire.
• IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, CySA+, GSEC, or SSCP) required.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• 7+ years of Splunk Enterprise architecture, cluster management, and SPL.
• 3+ years of AIOps with ITSM workflow integrations (ServiceNow).
• Experience with ITSI, SPL, and automated remediation.

Responsibilities

• Cross-Functional Leadership: Liaise with Network Eng, ServiceNow, and SolarWinds teams to unify telemetry pipelines.
• ITSM Orchestration & Automation: Architect closed-loop remediation by integrating Splunk ITSI alerts with ServiceNow modules.
• Mission-Critical Observability: Maintain Splunk AIOps across unclassified/classified enclaves for real-time situational awareness.
• Infrastructure Telemetry Integration: Normalize and correlate data from SolarWinds with logs for a holistic enterprise view.
• Advanced ML Development: Deploy ML models via Splunk MLTK to detect anomalies and threats.
• Secure Data Integration: Build secure data ingestion pipelines for telemetry from cross-domain devices.
• Incident Reduction: Use ITSI to reduce noise and prioritize high-impact alerts.
• Cyber Defense Support: Collaborate with CSSP to translate AIOps insights into defensive ops.
• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure observability tools comply with DoW STIGs/IL5/IL6; maintain architecture docs.
• Mission Alignment: Stay current on AIOps capabilities relevant to DoD and federal missions.
