Job summary

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital Northwest Arkansas in Rogers, AR is seeking a part-time Aide, Nursing to support patient care across shifts. You will assist with hygiene, mobility, vital signs, and daily activities while maintaining a safe, clean patient environment.

Requires high school diploma, CPR/BCLS, and at least six months of acute or long-term care experience. This role emphasizes compassionate care and teamwork within a supportive hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum six months of experience in an acute care or long-term care setting preferred.
• Certifications: CPR/BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care tasks including hygiene, grooming, and mobility support.
• Provide general nursing care such as patient positioning, lifting, turning, and use of assistive equipment.
• Assist with toileting using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation.
• Take and document vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, and blood pressure, as well as intake and output measurements.
• Assist in patient admission, transfer, and discharge, including handling personal belongings.
• Maintain a clean and comfortable patient environment.
• Respond promptly to patient call lights, telephone, and paging systems.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
