Job summary

Lifepoint Health's Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital Northwest Arkansas in Rogers, AR is seeking a Nurse Technician for a part-time schedule. The role requires flexibility to work weekdays and weekends, with duties spanning basic patient care and support to nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Provides essential support to nursing staff by performing basic patient care duties and assisting with daily living activities.
• Performs basic patient care tasks including hygiene, grooming, and mobility support.
• Provides general nursing care such as patient positioning, lifting, turning, and use of assistive equipment.
• Assists with toileting using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation.
• Takes and documents vital signs and intake/output measurements.
• Assists in patient admission, transfer, and discharge, including handling personal belongings.
• Maintains a clean and comfortable patient environment.
• Responds promptly to patient call lights, telephone, and paging systems.

How You'll Contribute

• The Nurse Technician provides essential support to nursing staff by performing basic patient care duties, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients.
• Perform basic patient care tasks including hygiene, grooming, and mobility support.
• Provide general nursing care such as patient positioning, lifting, turning, and use of assistive equipment.
• Assist with toileting using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation.
• Take and document vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, and blood pressure, as well as intake and output measurements.
• Assist in patient admission, transfer, and discharge, including handling personal belongings.
• Maintain a clean and comfortable patient environment.
• Respond promptly to patient call lights, telephone, and paging systems.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
