Job summary

Seven Hills Foundation, Stetson School in Massachusetts, seeks an Aide Behavioral Counselor II to support students in a therapeutic educational setting. You will work with educators and clinical staff to promote positive behaviors, life skills, and success in and out of the classroom.

This hands-on, team-oriented role is ideal for someone passionate about youth work. An associates degree or relevant experience is required, with comprehensive benefits and a $4,000 sign-on available.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in human services or 6 months field experience with a qualifying diploma.
  • Massachusetts residents: documentation of high school completion or equivalent (GED, diploma).
  • Valid driver’s license – class C or D.

Responsibilities

  • Student Support & Behavioral Intervention.
  • Respond to student behavior per established CPI policies.
  • Utilize de-escalation techniques and apply approved physical interventions when necessary.
  • Reinforce positive behaviors and serve as a consistent, supportive role model.
  • Classroom & Educational Assistance: support teachers, tutoring, and materials development.
  • Maintain a structured, safe, and engaging learning environment.
  • Supervision & Daily Routines: monitor students and ensure safety.
  • Documentation & Compliance: accurate CPI-related reporting and trainings.
