Job summary

Seven Hills Rhode Island is seeking a Behavior Specialist to develop and oversee behavior education services for adults in our programs. You’ll combine behavioral expertise, staff training, data analysis, and person-centered support to help individuals achieve meaningful goals and greater independence.

You’ll collaborate with Direct Support Professionals, clinical teams, families, and community partners to promote positive outcomes, monitor progress, and prepare progress reports.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Standard driver’s license – class C or D1.
  • 3 years of related experience.
  • Ability to work a Monday–Friday schedule 9am-5pm.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct behavioral and functional assessments and set individualized goals.
  • Develop teaching strategies and behavior programs aligned with Individual Support Plans.
  • Monitor and analyze data to evaluate progress.
  • Prepare progress reports and maintain accurate clinical and program documentation.
  • Train and coach Direct Support Professionals on behavioral strategies and teaching programs.
  • Provide Safety Care training and participate in staff training as assigned.
