Job summary

Midea Building Tech. is seeking an experienced sales professional to lead overseas data center accounts and drive adoption of advanced cooling solutions.

You will manage the full sales cycle, engage hyperscalers and large system integrators, and coordinate across technical, delivery, and legal teams to ensure project success. You will develop a deep understanding of cooling architectures, energy efficiency, and reliability while negotiating contracts and fostering long-term customer

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in HVAC, refrigeration, energy/power engineering, electrical engineering, automation, mechatronics, or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of sales experience in data centers, HVAC cooling, central air conditioning, liquid cooling, or related industries.
  • Experience with hyperscalers, Colo, AI infrastructure, EPCs, or large system integrators preferred.
  • Familiar with data center cooling system architecture and high-density computing, liquid cooling CDU, and air-/water-cooled applications.
  • Strong customer development, negotiation, and project execution capabilities.
  • Strong cross-functional coordination with sales, technical, delivery, and customer teams.
  • English can be used as a working language; overseas travel is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for developing and managing key overseas data center accounts and achieve annual sales targets.
  • Focus on hyperscalers, colo operators, AI infra customers, EPCs, and system integrators to drive cooling solutions adoption.
  • Understand cooling architecture, power density, energy efficiency, redundancy, and reliability for solution matching.
  • Lead commercial activities including communication, price negotiation, contract signing, and order closing.
  • Coordinate internal resources across technical, delivery, after-sales, product, legal, and regional teams.
  • Maintain customer relationships and drive renewals, expansions, and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Build customer maps, project pipelines, competitive intel, and market insights to support platform expansion.

Job description

1. Be responsible for developing and managing key overseas data center accounts, and achieve annual sales targets and key project goals.

2. Focus on Hyperscalers, Colocation operators, AI infrastructure customers, EPCs, and system integrators, and drive the adoption of cooling products and integrated solutions.

3. Develop a deep understanding of customer needs in cooling architecture, power density, liquid/air cooling configuration, energy efficiency, redundancy level, and reliability, and drive solution matching and project conversion.

4. Lead commercial activities for key projects, including customer communication, price negotiation, contract signing, and order closing, and manage the full cycle from opportunity to payment collection.

5. Coordinate internal resources across technical, delivery, after-sales, product, legal, and regional teams to ensure successful project execution.

6. Continuously maintain customer relationships and manage the customer lifecycle, driving renewals, expansions, and cross-selling opportunities.

7. Build customer maps, project pipelines, competitive intelligence, and market insights based on account and project activities to support platform business expansion.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in HVAC, Refrigeration, Energy and Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related fields.

2. At least 5 years of sales experience in data centers, HVAC cooling, central air conditioning, liquid cooling, or related industries.

3. Experience in developing Hyperscaler, Colo, AI infrastructure, EPC, or large system integrator accounts is preferred.

4. Familiar with data center cooling system architecture, and knowledgeable about high-density computing, liquid cooling CDU, and air-/water-cooled applications.

5. Strong customer development, business negotiation, and project execution capabilities, with the ability to independently drive key accounts and major opportunities.

6. Strong cross-functional coordination and resource integration skills, and ability to work effectively with sales, technical, delivery, and customer teams.

7. English can be used as a working language for customer communication, business negotiation, and cross-regional collaboration; overseas local hire or willingness to travel internationally is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience with customers such as Google, Microsoft, AWS, Meta, Oracle, OpenAI, or NVIDIA is preferred.

2. Experience in selling integrated primary-side and secondary-side cooling solutions is preferred.

3. Experience working with consultants, EPC contractors, general contractors, or large system integrators is preferred.

4. Experience in liquid cooling, CDU, fan wall, precision air conditioning, or large-scale cooling plant sales is preferred.
