Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovation is seeking a Systems Test Engineering Co-op in Danvers, MA to support the Automated Impella Controller Sustaining Team. You will help deliver system updates for cybersecurity enhancements and improve reliability for customers worldwide.

As a student, you will perform system-level testing across software, optical, and hardware interfaces, document findings, and work cross-functionally with Quality, Regulatory, and Software teams to enable timely deployments.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
• SolidWorks knowledge preferred.
• Strong design, testing, and analytical skills required.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute system-level tests for software, optical, and hardware interfaces.
• Investigate field-reported issues and create reproducible test cases.
• Support CAPAs and root-cause analysis.
• Help with change control, verification, and release activities.
• Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, Software, and Manufacturing.
• Assist in risk assessments and regulatory submissions.
