Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Systems Test Engineering Co-Op to join the engineering team in Danvers, MA. You will help drive next-generation development and testing for Impella projects, working across quality, regulatory, software, and manufacturing teams to enable safe, timely global deployments.

The role involves supporting development activities, executing test plans, documenting findings, and ensuring verification evidence is prepared for release and regulatory submissions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in relevant engineering field.
• SolidWorks knowledge preferred.
• Strong engineering and statistical analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute system-level integration and regression test plans that verify the Impella Pump and System
• Support change control and release activities: prepare verification evidence, updating BOMs, work instructions, and drawings
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Regulatory, Software, and Manufacturing to align verification strategies and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist in system-level risk assessments and contribute to CAPA investigations, design changes, and regulatory submissions
