Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Systems Test Engineering Co‑op to join the Danvers, MA engineering team. This role supports development and testing activities for the Impella platform within a collaborative, regulatory‑driven environment.

The student will perform system‑level integration and regression testing, document findings, and work cross‑functionally with Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing to enable safe, timely deployments.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related discipline.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks or comparable CAD program.
• Strong design, testing, and analytical skills required.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail demonstrated in prior work experience.

Responsibilities

• Support development activities and testing for Next Gen Impella projects.
• Execute integration and regression test plans and document findings.
• Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, Software, and Manufacturing to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist in system-level risk assessments and CAPA investigations.
