Job summary

Modern Family Law in the United States is seeking an AI Workflow Engineer / Automation Architect to design and implement scalable AI-native legal workflows and automation systems across the firm's technology stack.

You will build the plumbing that powers AI-enabled service delivery, integrate AI models with CRMs, document systems, client portals, and operational tools, and ensure secure, auditable processes through governance measures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in software/automation.
• Proven experience building AI-native workflow systems and automations.
• Production-grade Python with testing, VCS, and CI/CD.
• Experience with orchestration frameworks and AI infrastructure tools.
• Strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to design scalable architectures for client-focused workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-enabled workflow orchestration across legal and operations.
• Build integrations between AI platforms, CRMs, document automation, and client portals.
• Develop event-driven pipelines for intake, document generation, and communications.
• Collaborate with knowledge engineers and product teams to translate workflows into architectures.
• Implement API integrations with third-party and internal systems.
• Develop retrieval, prompt orchestration, and workflow execution for AI agents.
• Ensure security, governance, auditability, and compliance planning for AI workflows.
• Document architectures and integration maps for operational standards.
• Evaluate emerging automation technologies and tools.
