Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Sales Engineer SME for AI Databases in Round Rock, TX. You’ll lead pre-sales and post-sales technical activities, focusing on Milvus/Qdrant vector databases, RAG architectures, and integrated AI data solutions for enterprise customers.

You will present complex concepts to both technical and executive audiences, collaborate across teams, and drive customer success with world-class demos and PoCs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a pre-sales or technical role with customers.
• Strong SQL analytics and data processing skills.
• Experience selling data/analytics software to enterprises.
• Hands-on with vector databases and AI deployment.
• Ability to present to technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for AI Databases and Milvus/Qdrant in pre-sales.
• Lead strategic pre-sales support, needs analysis, and scoping.
• Deliver product demos and proofs-of-concept to prospects.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Marketing.
• Develop and present technical guidance to resolve customer challenges.
