Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a hands-on, senior leader to run a team of AI Tutors, delivering high-quality training data and evaluations to power our models. You will set data quality standards, review domain work, and scale processes while personally contributing to labeling and review tasks.

You will coach a mix of full-time staff and contractors, manage performance, establish KPI dashboards, and collaborate with engineering to translate model needs into labeling strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil, Environmental, or related engineering field.
• 2+ professional experience in engineering practice or a Master’s degree in engineering/related field.
• Basic understanding of AI and machine learning concepts and data quality impact on model performance.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end quality and delivery for assigned Human Data projects, reviewing work for accuracy and guideline adherence.
• Lead, coach, and performance-manage a team of AI Tutors including performance reviews and action plans.
• Oversee labeling and reviewing tasks to maintain high standards and quality assurance.
