Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a hands‑on Data Team Lead to manage AI Tutors responsible for training data and evaluation for model power. You will set quality standards, review domain work, and guide process improvements as the team scales.

The role combines leadership with hands‑on labeling work, KPI driven delivery, and close collaboration with Human Data Managers and Engineering to translate model needs into clear labeling requirements.

Qualifications

• 8+ months hands‑on experience in data labeling, annotation, AI training/evaluation, or related operations.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a clinical or medicine-adjacent field (e.g., medicine, nursing, public health) or 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Strong understanding of AI concepts and how data quality impacts model performance.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end quality and delivery for assigned Human Data projects and review work for accuracy and consistency.
• Lead, coach, and performance‑manage a team of AI Tutors; conduct regular reviews and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee labeling and reviewing tasks to maintain high standards; ensure guideline adherence and quality assurance.
