Relief International is seeking an AI and Digital Transformation Advisor to lead AI strategy across departments and country programmes. This remote, 12-month role focuses on shaping how the organization adopts AI and digital tools responsibly and effectively to improve impact and efficiency.

You will work with senior leaders to develop an organizational roadmap for AI adoption, coordinate initiatives, strengthen staff capability, and ensure governance and humanitarian principles guide innovation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supporting AI adoption, digital transformation or technology-enabled improvement initiatives within a complex organization.
• Strong practical understanding of generative AI technologies and their real-world applications.
• Experience translating organizational needs into practical technology solutions and measurable improvements.
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills across departments.
• Experience leading change-management initiatives and helping teams adopt new tools and processes.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and training skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Understanding of responsible AI principles including data protection, cybersecurity and ethics.

Responsabilités

• Lead development and evolution of Relief International's AI and digital transformation strategy into a practical roadmap.
• Identify opportunities where AI and digital tools improve efficiency, knowledge sharing and decision-making.
• Oversee a portfolio of AI initiatives with clear objectives and milestones.
• Develop business cases for AI adoption and track investments and ROI.
• Build organization-wide approaches to AI adoption and capability building.
• Create training materials and resources to make AI accessible to all staff.
• Ensure AI solutions align with cybersecurity and governance requirements.
• Promote responsible AI, including human oversight and data privacy.
• Strengthen organizational learning and knowledge management with AI-enabled approaches.
• Mentor AI and Knowledge Management Intern.
