Job summary

Terranova, a hard-tech innovator, seeks an AI Tool Engineer to design and deploy practical AI-powered tools for engineering, manufacturing, and field operations. You will prototype solutions, automate workflows, and convert operating data into actionable insights.

You'll work closely with mechanical, electrical, software, and field engineers to identify inefficiencies and deploy tools that improve performance and decision making across the shop and in the field.

Qualifications

• Strong Python programming with software tool development experience.
• Experience with LLM APIs, AI agents, or applied AI systems.
• Ability to build end-to-end applications from data ingestion to UI.

Responsibilities

• Design and build internal AI-powered tools for engineering, manufacturing, and operations.
• Develop data pipelines and dashboards to visualize performance and identify improvements.
• Build predictive models and analyze field/instrumentation data.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement practical AI solutions.
