Terranova is seeking an AI Tool Engineer to design and deploy AI-powered tools that enhance engineering, manufacturing, and field operations. You will transform operational data into actionable insights and automate workflows with practical software solutions.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to prototype, deploy, and iterate on tools that improve efficiency and decision-making across the organization.

Qualifications

• Strong Python proficiency with experience building software tools.
• Experience with LLM APIs, AI agents, and ML frameworks.
• Ability to build end-to-end applications from data ingestion to UI.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
• Comfortable working with real-world, messy data.

Responsibilities

• Design and build internal AI-powered tools that streamline engineering, manufacturing, and operational workflows.
• Develop systems to collect, track, and analyze metrics across shop operations and field activities.
• Build and deploy machine learning, statistical, and predictive models for engineering applications.
• Work directly with engineers, technicians, and operators to understand challenges and develop practical solutions.
