Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years in cybersecurity with threat detection/response exposure.
• Production-ready systems experience implied by role.
• Familiarity with security tooling and operational workflows.
• Basic AI/ML concepts and MITRE ATT&CK awareness.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Threat & technology research on AI-era threats; summarize findings for the team.
• Build, test, and refine detection-and-response capabilities with existing tooling.
• Prototype & evaluate new defensive approaches; document specifications.
• Collaborate with threat intel, detection engineering, and data science teams to productionize prototypes.
• Communicate research findings clearly to teammates and stakeholders.
