Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking a technology attorney to join the Technology Legal team in the US or EMEA, focused on AI governance, data protection, and technology law matters.

You will work within a global team to advise on AI procurement, development, governance, and integration into products and services, with emphasis on EU AI Act and GDPR compliance, security, and cyber incident response.

Qualifications

• Licensed and barred attorney.
• Minimum 5 years as a technology attorney.
• Knowledge of AI, data protection and technology law.
• Understanding EU AI Act and GDPR requirements.
• Experience with cyber or data incident response.

Responsibilities

• Advise on AI governance and regulation for Engineering and business units.
• Support development of AI applications and models from a legal perspective.
• Advise on AI-related data processing and privacy concerns.
