Job summary

The Charles Schwab Corporation is seeking an Internal Audit Director to lead AI-focused audits across the organization, including governance of AI data, use case inventory, risk tiering, and regulatory alignment. You will coordinate with the Technology Audit Enterprise Team and external co-sourcing partners to drive effective assurance programs and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; preferred fields include Computer Science, ML, Mathematics, Physics or related.
• CPA, CIA or CISA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI-related audits including planning, testing, and sign-off of deliverables.
• Oversee issues identification, validation, and management with senior stakeholders.
• Monitor audit portfolio timelines, budgets, and resourcing; coordinate with external co-sourcing.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to audit team and support recruiting.
