Job summary

Nebius is seeking a Technology Commercial Legal Counsel to join our legal team in Austin, Texas or New York. You will own drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of customer-facing and commercial agreements, while ensuring global privacy compliance and data protection standards.

You will partner with Go-to-Market teams and drive complex cross-border transactions, translating regional requirements into practical guidance for global teams.

Qualifications

• US, EU, or Israel Bar admission.
• LL.B. or equivalent from a top-tier university.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements, including Fortune 500 customer-facing contracts under pressure.
• 4–9 years of experience in tech commercial and privacy law at a top law firm and as in-house counsel.
• Experience with SaaS and AI companies.
• Experience with global privacy regulations (GDPR, CPRA, and U.S. state privacy laws).
• Experience with U.S. copyright and intellectual property laws.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• Own the drafting, review, and negotiation of a wide range of customer-facing and commercial agreements.
• Provide practical, business-oriented advice throughout customer negotiations.
• Support and enhance privacy and data protection program, ensuring compliance with GDPR/CCPA and other global standards.
• Review and negotiate DPAs and provide ongoing guidance on privacy matters.
• Drive cross-border transactions involving multiple stakeholders.
• Advise internal stakeholders on local legal and regulatory considerations for global teams.
• Build and continuously improve regional contract templates, playbooks, processes, and guidance materials as the business scales.
