The Blackstone Group L.P. is looking for a technical partner in AI to support the BXCI AI Operating team. This role encompasses the full engagement lifecycle, from strategy development to execution, requiring proficiency in AI systems and a strong understanding of technical architecture.

Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of experience building AI/ML systems, excellent Python skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with senior audiences. The position is located in San Francisco with a salary range of $215,000 – $250,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building AI/ML systems in production environments.
• Proficiency in rapidly assessing unfamiliar technical systems.
• Experience shipping AI-enabled products or features.

Responsibilities

• Assess portfolio companies’ technical reality and contribute to strategic insights.
• Build and maintain internal tools for team effectiveness.
• Lead technical diligence on implementation partners.
