Job summary

WilmerHale is seeking a Business Relationship Manager to lead AI strategy conversations across practice groups and business departments in Boston. You will own the engagement lifecycle from discovery to delivery, translating complex needs into actionable IT requirements and driving adoption of innovative technology in a premier law firm environment.

Ideal candidates bring JD preferral, a strong background in legal technology, and 7–10 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Strong stakeholder service orientation and relationship-building.
• Knowledge of law firm technology and AI applications in legal workflows.
• Ability to translate business needs into IT requirements and build business cases.

Responsibilities

• Own front-end engagement lifecycle for practice groups and departments.
• Identify high-impact AI-enabled opportunities and shape solutions.
• Translate requirements into functional specs for IS delivery.
• Coordinate with IS and stakeholders to prioritize and track opportunities.
• Communicate strategy and status to stakeholders; advocate for needs.
• Lead requirements gathering via interviews and workshops.
• Support adoption, measure outcomes, and train users.
