Job summary

Gartner, Inc. is seeking an Engagement Manager with deep fluency in AI to lead high-impact client engagements at the intersection of strategy, technology, and enterprise transformation.

This client-facing leadership role shapes AI strategy, guides delivery teams, and translates Gartner's research into measurable business outcomes for large enterprises and the public sector. The Director works as a trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders and drives growth of Gartner's AI Center of Excellence,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in management consulting, technology strategy, or enterprise transformation with AI focus.
• Demonstrated ability to lead C-level conversations and sell/deliver multimillion-dollar engagements.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree strongly preferred.
• Exceptional structured-thinking, executive communication, and storyline/deck-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex AI engagements end-to-end from scope to implementation oversight with senior stakeholders.
• Maintain hands-on fluency across AI stack and advise on governance, data strategy and ROI realization.
• Drive business development—pipeline generation, scoping, and closing of AI-focused consulting engagements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary teams within Gartner Consulting.

Education

Bachelor's degree

MBA or MS in CS/Data Science or equivalent
