Gartner Consulting seeks an Engagement Manager with deep fluency in artificial intelligence to lead high-impact client engagements at the intersection of strategy, technology, and enterprise transformation.

This is a client-facing leadership role responsible for shaping AI strategy, guiding delivery teams, and translating Gartner's research and proprietary methodologies into measurable business outcomes for large enterprise and public-sector clients.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in management consulting or enterprise transformation with a strong AI/data focus.
• Ability to lead C-level conversations and sell/deliver multimillion-dollar engagements.
• Depth of experience in multiple industries (manufacturing, financial services, healthcare, etc.).
• Strong technical literacy to engage IT leaders and translate to business executives.
• Proven AI strategy, data strategy, operating-model design, or large-scale AI/ML work.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA/MS in CS/Data Science strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex AI engagements end-to-end from scope through implementation oversight.
• Serve as the primary executive contact for clients, building senior-level relationships.
• Translate business problems into structured, decision-ready recommendations.
• Guide AI enablement strategy, operating-model design, and governance.
• Advise on opportunities and risks of deploying AI at enterprise scale.
• Mentor teams and contribute to Gartner's AI Center of Excellence.
