Job summary

C3 AI is searching for an Industry Solution Leader (ISL) for Energy and Utilities to drive enterprise AI solutions in Power Generation and Battery Storage Dispatch Optimization.

The ISL will own solution strategy, lead cross-functional teams including engineers and product specialists, and deliver measurable business value from problem definition through production. Candidates should have hands-on experience in asset-intensive industries and be able to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 7+ years in engineering, manufacturing, operations, reliability, or maintenance.
• Experience in asset-intensive industries and working with industrial data.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall solution strategy, technical direction, and delivery outcomes for assigned engagements.
• Serve as the primary customer-facing solution leader and domain expert across operations and executives.
• Identify high-impact opportunities in equipment reliability, production performance, and energy efficiency.
• Translate engineering challenges into AI/ML and software requirements with clear success criteria.
• Lead use-case definition, requirements gathering, architecture, validation, and deployment.
• Collaborate with Forward Deployed Engineers, data scientists, product managers, and customers.
