Job summary

C3 AI is seeking an Industry Solution Leader for Power and Utilities to drive end-to-end AI solutions for power generation and battery storage optimization. You will lead customer engagements, define technical strategies, and coordinate cross-functional teams from problem definition through production deployment.

The role combines senior domain expertise with delivery ownership, working closely with customers and internal teams to quantify value and ensure operational impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in engineering, manufacturing, operations, reliability, maintenance, or consulting.
• Experience in asset-intensive industries including utilities and power generation.
• Demonstrated experience solving complex operational problems and improving equipment reliability.
• Ability to travel to customer locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Own solution strategy, direction, and delivery outcomes from definition to scale.
• Serve as primary customer-facing solution leader and domain expert.
• Identify and quantify high-impact opportunities across reliability, output, and energy efficiency.
• Translate challenges into AI/ML/optimization problems with clear value.
• Lead engagements through use case definition, requirements, and deployment.
• Guide interpretation of engineering data and ensure credible recommendations.
• Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and product managers.
• Validate requirements and workflows with customer teams and execs.
• Ensure data, signals, and equipment attributes are properly used.
• Maintain accountability for quality, value, risks, and adoption.
• Collaborate to identify reusable capabilities and scale solutions.
• Support sales with problem framing and deployment demos.
• Develop statements of work and deployment plans.
• Develop repeatable industry methodologies and represent the company.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
