Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Finance AI/Automation professional to partner with Finance, Product, and Engineering. You will automate manual processes, design AI agents, and build data solutions that scale.

The role blends process automation with data operations and continuous improvement, enabling Finance teams to own and evolve the solutions. You will work across disciplines, leverage AI-enabled tools, and collaborate with Engineering to scope and test custom tools, ensuring reliable, user-friendly

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, technical operations, business intelligence, automation, solutions delivery, or related field.
• 2+ years of program management experience with business leaders to shape transformation programs.
• Hands-on experience building AI-enabled tools, agents, automations, or workflows that change a real business process.
• Strong SQL proficiency with complex queries (CTEs, window functions, joins).
• Track record of scoping and delivering technical solutions for process improvement.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Embed with Finance teams to diagnose workflows and translate requirements into AI/automation solutions.
• Build and operationalize AI agents for Finance use cases from prototype to handoff.
• Write and optimize SQL for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
• Design reusable knowledge layers and data-quality frameworks to improve agent accuracy.
• Identify limitations and collaborate with Engineering to scope tools and integrations.
• Develop SOPs, runbooks, and training to enable long-term ownership.
