Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Finance AI/Automation specialist to embed with Finance teams, design AI agents, and scale automations across the finance function. You will own end-to-end delivery from prototype to deployment, balancing rapid impact with long-term maintainability.

The role emphasizes data analytics, SQL proficiency, and collaboration with Engineering to extend platform capabilities. In-office role based in Chicago.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data analytics or related field.
• 2+ years in program management with leaders to develop/process transform.
• Hands-on with AI-enabled tools, agents, automations, or workflows.
• Strong SQL including CTEs, window functions, joins for data analysis.
• Experience scoping and delivering technical solutions for process improvement.
• Strong communication with non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Embed with Finance teams to diagnose workflows and translate requirements into AI/automation solutions.
• Build and operationalize AI agents for Finance use cases end-to-end.
• Write and optimize SQL for data extraction, transformation, validation.
• Design reusable knowledge layers and data-quality frameworks.
• Collaborate with Engineering to scope and test custom tools and integrations.
