Job summary

Philips in Plymouth, MN is seeking an Intern – AI Engineer for Summer 2027 to work on enterprise AI and workflow automation. You will design, build, test, and optimize AI agents and integrations using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and Azure-based data sources.

You will gain hands-on HealthTech experience by connecting AI to SharePoint, Power BI, and Teams, while developing dashboards and governance materials.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience with one or more programming languages (Python, JavaScript, C#, or SQL) and a basic understanding of data structures and data management.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and optimize AI agents and conversational AI experiences using Microsoft Copilot Studio, including prompts, instructions, grounding, and knowledge sources.
• Support AI agent workflows and troubleshoot solutions to improve effectiveness and user experience.
• Connect AI solutions to enterprise data sources including SharePoint, Microsoft Lists, Teams, Power BI, and Azure-based repositories.
• Develop automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate to streamline business processes and reduce manual activities.
