Mirion Technologies, Inc. is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to be embedded within its Medical business units and to partner with manufacturing, quality, service, and product teams.

The role focuses on identifying opportunities for AI‑driven improvements and delivering measurable operational results across workflows. Reporting to the Chief AI & Digital Officer, you will own the full lifecycle of AI solutions and deploy agentic AI and LLM‑based tools to automate processes, enhance decision

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, AI, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience developing and deploying production software, ML, or AI‑based solutions.
• Experience with software engineering and cloud‑based application development and deployment.
• Hands‑on experience designing and implementing agentic AI or LLM‑based solutions using LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, or similar frameworks.
• Strong programming experience in Python and familiarity with APIs, cloud architectures, and production deployment practices.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Working knowledge of DevOps, MLOps, software deployment, monitoring, and maintenance practices.
• Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, define solutions, and execute complex projects independently.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for non‑technical audiences.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Embed within Medical business units to understand workflows and priorities.
• Participate in leadership meetings and collaborate with quality, service, engineering, and product teams.
• Identify manual, repetitive, or inefficient processes suitable for automation or AI improvements.
• Translate business challenges into technical solutions and build business cases for prioritization.
• Design and implement AI-powered applications addressing manufacturing, quality, service, and admin needs.
• Develop computer vision solutions for visual inspection, defect detection, anomaly ID, and QA.
• Build agentic AI and LLM-based solutions to automate workflows and improve decisions.
• Own full product lifecycle from design to deployment and adoption.
• Leverage enterprise platforms while delivering rapid, solution‑oriented results.
• Communicate objectives, progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders in non‑technical terms.
• Define success measures and monitor KPIs like cycle time, throughput, quality, and cost savings.
• Provide training and change management guidance to ensure adoption.
• Continuously evaluate deployed solutions and implement enhancements.
