Murata America is seeking a Principal Engineer specialized in AI/ML to drive technical direction and hands-on development for medical devices. You will lead scalable AI platforms, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes production ML pipelines, robust validation, and deployment of models that improve patient outcomes. Expect leadership in MLOps, cloud and container technologies, and ongoing engagement with regulatory

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s with extensive industry experience in AI/ML.
• Expertise in deep learning architectures for biomedical data.
• Experience with MLOps, CI/CD, and production ML pipelines.
• Knowledge of FDA ISO13485 and medical device compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design of scalable AI platforms.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to AI/ML engineers.
• Collaborate across product, clinical, quality, and regulatory teams.
• Develop and deploy AI/ML models for medical devices.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and robust validation of models.
