Job summary

Build's domain experts spend too much time on tasks that should be automated - moving data between systems, reformatting outputs, chasing the same information across the same sources, doing by hand what a tool should do once.

This role exists to close that gap. You sit between the platform and the people using it, and you build the tools, integrations, and automations that remove the drag. You are accountable for the delivery team being able to do more without working harder.

Responsibilities

• Build internal tools that take repeated manual work off the delivery team
• Integrate the platform with the systems the team actually uses day to day
• Automate the handoffs between people, agents and data that currently need a human
• Instrument the operation so we can see where the time is really going
• Turn one-off scripts into things the whole team can rely on
• Own your tools end-to-end, including the unglamorous maintenance
• Sit with the users rather than gathering requirements at a distance
• Feed what you learn back into the core product
